Eating

Cooking

The separation between cooking (cookery school) and eating (restaurant) is visible from the beginning, although both are covered by the surrounding forest performing the act of growing.

Elevation and sections below show leveling of ground as a tool of further hiding or exposing the two building parts, both connected by a ramp.

Various lighting penetration strategies from above are considered along with intensity of direct lighting and the shadowing for the cooking act.

Whereas the more appealing, thus exposed eating act (as a disguise for the primary goal of the project which is a cookery school) is experimented with its shape following desirable views to be framed, blocking others.

Circulation of occupants through the two buildings are intended for both purposeful routes and aimless strolls. Therefore different type of users are taken into account along with the expected/surprising quality of their journeys.
